Tubular Tuesdays: Timepieces in the Shop
Welcome back from the long weekend readers! Today’s post has been taken over by yellow gold fever with a few of the current timepieces in the shop. Yellow gold is making a comeback with its arm tones and luxe look, and these 5 watches are our top tick-picks for your wrists.
In 1845 Antoni Patek joined with the French watchmaker Adrien Philippe and Patek Philippe & Co was founded in 1851.Credited with inventing the watch as we know it, this brand invented the perpetual calendar, split-seconds hand, chronograph, and minute repeater in watches. This 18kt rare gold stunner makes an interesting and classic addition to a watch collection.
In 1917, Cartier debuted its Tank watch, inspired by the Renault tanks that Cartier observed during World War I.
