The Cartier Santos 100 ladies midsized with pave diamonds is becoming a more sought after preowned luxury watch.  Recently there has been a large demand for large and flashy watches for women.  This Cartier Santos 100 fits what women are looking for.

The Cartier Santos 100 was made in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Cartier.  It has a huge case and when it is made from 18kt rose gold it has an absolutely stunning look.  The only thing that can make it look even better are pave diamonds throughout the bezel and lugs.

This particular preowned luxury watch has a 44.2 x 33.0 mm case.  It’s beautiful alligator leather strap closes with an 18kt pink gold clasp.  An automatic movement powers this gorgeous machine.  It is a watch that says “look at me” in any situation.

Preowned Luxury Watches: Rolex Yachtmaster

One of the most popular preowned luxury watches is the Rolex Yachtmaster. Introduced in 1992, it was only available in solid 18kt yellow gold with a white dial (model 16628).  Two years later a mid size and ladies size were introduced, available with a white or blue dial.  In 1999 the most popular version came out on the market, the stainless steel that came with a platinum bezel.  It wasn’t until 2005 was when the two tone models came out.

Even though the Rolex Yachtmaster is a relatively new watch, it is one of the most sought after preowned luxury watches.  It is sort of a luxury diving watch that can be worn by wealthy yacht owners.  The solid 18kt yellow gold model is a stunning example.

The main function of the Yachtmaster is not necessarily a function at all; it is to look like luxury.  From the stainless steel model to the solid gold model it oozes style and wealth.  The bezel is marked with ten minute increments and is rotatable in both directions as to time a race.  It of course is, like all Rolex watches, a certified chronometer with an automatic movement.

When looking to buy preowned luxury watches one should always consider the Rolex Yachtmaster.  With its stunning design and useful functionality it makes a great investment.

As we do every day we just bought a few awesome preowned luxury watches: one of which is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.  Audemars Piguet is one of the most popular luxury Swiss watch companies.  They have been producing exceptional timepieces since 1875 and have had a recent explosion in demand for their Royal Oak line. In fact, if you watch LeBron James’ recent “decision” on ESPN you will notice he is wearing an orange Audemars.

The Royal Oak we have is made from stainless steel throughout the case and bracelet, and it’s dial is black which makes is a watch that can match with most any outfit.  LeBron James sports the larger 42mm Royal Oak Offshore model (he is 6′ 8″) which suits him perfectly.  For a more average sized person our 39mm Royal Oak looks great.  An automatic movement with a power reserve of 60 hours makes sense for anyone with an active lifestyle.  The skeleton back shows off the beautiful and functional 3120 caliber movement.

Buying preowned luxury watches can be a great alternative to paying full retail for a brand new luxury watch.  Keep up with the new trends and styles with less money by buying preowned luxury watches.  This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is a great deal and will instantly boost your status.

Preowned Luxury Watches: Rolex Explorer II

After purchasing some preowned luxury watches today I found myself admiring the design of the Rolex Explorer II. It is somewhat of an under appreciated watch in the preowned luxury watches community. It seems that when someone wants a Rolex sport watch they rush to the Submariner or GMT-Master. I feel as if the Explorer II is being overlooked.

At first I could not find a real difference between the functions in a GMT-Master and the Explorer II.  Both have two timezones, both are water resistant for 100m and both have a 24-hour bezel.  It wasn’t until I read more about the Explorer that I realized the bezel is fixed.  As an explorer’s watch this is perfect.  In many places around the world the sun stays out for more than 24 hours at a time, making it impossible to tell night from day.  The engraved bezel will ensure you never get AM and PM mixed up.

Also, in my opinion, the Rolex Explorer II has a much simpler design than the GMT-Master.  It looks more like a classic watch than a sports watch and has a visible 40mm case.  The Explorer II comes with a black or white dial.  It combines functionality and simplicity into a quality timepiece.

Preowned Luxury Watches: Rolex Yachtmaster II

One of the most sought after preowned luxury watches is the Rolex Yachtmaster II.  It came into production in 2007 and has been a desirable watch ever since.

Since larger face watches are in style these days, the 44mm case makes a great statement.  It’s design is independent from the regular Yachtmaster because of its large size.  It has a much bigger feel and is heavy because the Yachtmaster II is only made in white and yellow gold.

This preowned luxury watch has a dial with a countdown feature that starts at 4 and ends counter clockwise at 8.  The second hand is a small dial at the bottom near 6.  Unlike most watches, the bezel is part of the dial and internal mechanism.  It can be set and programmed to countdown to the start of a regatta.

Naturally, this preowned luxury watch, being a Rolex, is water resistant up to 330 feet.  The chronometer movement is certified like all Rolex models.  Both the white gold and yellow gold models come with a white dial.

Preowned Luxury Watches: Rolex Milgauss

One of the simplest and most stylish preowned luxury watches is the Rolex Milgauss.  It is a lesser known watch due to its limited availability.  There aren’t many Milgauss for sale because there weren’t that many made in Rolex’s history.

The first Milgauss was produced in 1954 with the model number 6451.  It was made for one specific purpose: to be able to withstand strong magnetic fields.  Until the Milgauss, any mechanical watch could be affected by the fields of a magnet.  Now, with this new invention, the Milgauss can withstand magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss.

In 1988 Rolex halted production of the Milgauss due to poor sales.  In 2007 Rolex brought it back under the model number 116400.  It has a completely different design from the original.  It is a more simple design with a smooth polished bezel.  White and black are the only two dial colors.  There is an anniversary edition with a green crystal that is extremely sought after.  It sells for over retail.

The lack of knowledge of this stylish preowned luxury watch makes it incredibly desirable.  The Rolex Milgauss combines functionality with fashion.
