The Watch of Burn Notice- Watch Sell

Watch Sell

The Cast of Burn Notice

The USA network‘s hottest show, Burn Notice, has just been picked up for its fifth and sixth season. Burn Notice debuted in 2007 and quickly gained a dedicated following of faithful viewers. I only recently started to watch this amazing show. To be honest I did not think I was going to like Burn Notice  and was not too excited to watch another investigation drama, especially since there are such a glut of these type of shows on air already. After viewing the first the couple of episodes I was hooked, Burn Notice has enough twists and turns to keep you riveted. The show also strives to differentiate itself from the more popular network investigation/cop dramas, especially since there are other shows that take place in Miami. The show features a great cast such as the always amazing Bruce Campbell, famous from the Evil Dead series of movies and other high quality supporting actors.

Burn Notice deals with an ex spy, Michael Westen, who has recently been “burned” by someone from an intelligence agency, leaving him without any espionage connections, access to cash, influence or support network…. in essence no identity.  Weston is forced to go back to his hometown of Miami, Florida to work as an unlicensed private investigator while he discovers who really  got him burned. The narrative sounds slightly cliche but Burn Notice uses great actors and superb writing to keeps things fresh. Also I have a soft spot for any show that takes place in Florida;  Miami is only an hours drive from beautiful Boca Raton, Florida where Raymond Lee jewelers resides. Watch Sell.

Throughout the show I kept getting glimpses of the lead character’s watch; a large, bold and visibly stunning timepiece. I did some research and discovered that Michael Westen wears a Chase-Durer Special Forces 1000XL UDT, modelnumber 246.4BB7-XL-BR. This great watch can be seen in many episodes and even in promotional shots. The Chase-Durer Special Forces watch has a large case, crafted from stainless steel and painted black with 316L PVD coating. The bracelet matches the case and has similar look of more expensive brands (Rolex).  The watch features unidirectional bezel with 0-60 and 360 degree compass markers, date, lap time functions, a screw-locked crown, pushers and screw-in back. The brand is known for its great luminosity, Special Forces 1000 XL UDT proves this point well with its impressive 125 Mic Super-LumiNova advanced illumination system on its hands and numbers.  The UDT in its name stands for Underwater Demolition Team which adds to its adventurous spirit. The Chase-Durer Special Forces 1000 XL UDT is priced around $1,000 and comes from a company with a great reputation.
