Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990 (happy birthday!) in Paris, where she would live until the age of five. As she neared the age of six, Watson moved with her mother and younger brother to Oxfordshire.

Emma proclaimed that she would be an actress, and for the next few years studied at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. Emma Watson had performed in various school plays and productions at the theatre school, but had never acted professionally prior to the Harry Potter films.

The English actress and model who rose to prominence playing Hermione Granger is now the title holder of the coveted top spot of Glamour Magazine’s Best Dressed Women List (Britain).
