Florida Jewelry

Grammy Award

The world renowned timepiece and Jewelry maker, Gucci, and The Grammy Awards have signed a three-year agreement that will have Gucci designing a unique collection of watches and Jewelry for the Grammys. Gucci has always had strong support from the countless musicians that attend the Grammy Awards every year and hopes to honor these talented and loyal clientele by having its famous creative director, Frida Giannini, design the special collection her self. Proceeds from the sale of this collection will go to the Grammy Museum, which is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of milestone musical recordings for the enjoyment of future generations.

Gucci has a great history of commitments to the preservation of the arts. 90 years of success allows Gucci to provide support to some worth while causes, such as Martin Scorsese’s non-profit organization , The Film Foundation. The Film Foundation was founded in 1990 and is dedicated to preserving films. Its five year relationship with Gucci has resulted in the restoration of six classic films that will survive to enrich the lives of future generations. The Grammy Museum hopes to do the same thing but with music. Judging by the success Gucci has had with The Film Foundation, I do not doubt this partnership will succeed in preserving historically significant moments and recordings of our musical heritage.
