Sports Watch Weekly Giveaway: Week 4 Preview

I can’t believe it’s week 4 in the NFL already!  Time for my Sports Watch Weekly Giveaway: Week 4 Preview.  Last week was wild with another incredible game capping it all off on Monday Night Football.  Who really thought the Bears would win that game?  While 18 penalties didn’t exactly help the Packers, their coach did not manage the time at the end of the game correctly.  The Bears were the better team that night which surprised a lot of people.

As for my picks last week; I went 8-7.  I picked two upsets that did not pan out.  However, in my defense, the Broncos played without Knowshaun Moreno who I thought would have a huge game against the Colts.  The game had a different feel without him.   I also had the 49ers coming back and winning their first game of the season which did not happen either.  I guess they are not as good as everyone thought they were.

This week I am going to highlight the Ravens at the Steelers and the Patriots at the Dolphins (Monday Night Football).

The Ravens at Steelers is a fascinating match-up on so many levels.  Before the season, analysts were saying if Pittsburgh could just manage to be 2-2 without Ben Roethlisberger they would be in prime shape when he comes back.  Well, their defense has been dominant and if they win this week they will be 4-0; which begs the question: will they be as good with Ben Roethlisberger?  As for the Ravens, they have been wildly inconsistent.  They dominated the Jets opening week, then lost to a mediocre Cincinnati team, then barely beat a terrible Cleveland team; leaving them at a shaky 2-1.  They have so much offensive talent but haven’t seemed unlock it.   Their defense has been good in spots, but it is aging.  If they go into Pittsburgh and win I will be surprised.  I think the Steelers will shut down the Ravens’ offense, especially because Ray Rice is banged up, and improve to an impossible 4-0 without their 2 time Super Bowl champ quarterback.

This Monday night, the 2-1 Dolphins are hosting the 2-1 Patriots.  This features one of the most prolific offenses in the league against one of the best defenses no one has ever heard of.  Tom Brady has never had so many weapons; from Randy Moss who still looks like he’s the fastest guy in the league, to Wes Welker, to the addition of two different but equally good rookie tight ends.  They should put up at least 30 points every game.  The Dolphins on the other hand have their strength on defense.  While you may not have heard of many of their players, they have one of the most physical defenses in the league.  Also, last week Brandon Marshall and Chad Henne finally seemed like they were on the page connecting for 10 catches, 1 touchdown, and over 160 yards.  As much as it pains me to say it, I think the Dolphins are going to win.  This Patriots defense is too weak to shut down anyone it looks like.  They are young and athletic but aren’t playing as a team yet.  It might be different the second time around but for now, I would bet on the Dolphins at home.

Rest of my picks:

49ers at Falcons:  The 49ers are looking more and more like last year’s 0-6 Titans.
Jets at Bills:  This will be closer than people think
Bengals at Browns:  If the Bengals are a playoff team this should be a blowout right?
Lions at Packers:  Packers should win easily, even with no running game
Broncos at Titans:  Titans improve to 3-1
Seahawks at Rams: Sam Bradford is goooooood
Panthers at Saints:  Are the Panthers the worst team in the league?
Ravens at Steelers: Review above
Texans at Raiders:  Should be tough if Andre doesn’t play, but not that tough
Colts at Jaguars:  Colts will struggle but pull it out in the end
Redskins at Eagles:  Vick will make Philly forget about McNabb
Cardinals at Chargers: October is when the bolts start lighting up
Bears at Giants:  The Giants aren’t this bad are they?
Patriots at Dolphins: Review above

Good luck in week 4!  If you haven’t signed up our FREE Sports Watch Weekly Giveaway yet, click here.  Tell everyone you know to sign up and take advantage of a great opportunity to win a stylish sports watch.

The Breitling Emergency: Able To Send A Real Distress Signal!- Watch Sell

Watch Sell

Watch Sell

The Breitling Emergency is a quite frankly one of the most unique watches I have ever come across here at Raymond Lee Jewelers. With a though titanium case, coral dial and titanium Professional bracelet or a rubber sporty bracelet, the Breitling Emergency screams luxury while maintaining a rugged look. This is exactly what Breitling intended when they designed the Emergency, a watch sell that could survive the highest depths, the thickest jungles or the hottest deserts. and not look out of place at the opera. Legendary survivalist Bear Grylls from the show Man Vs. Wild wears a Breitling Emergency with a yellow face and rubber strap. We here at Raymond Lee Jewelers have the same exact watch for sale.

One of the most amazing features of the Breitling Emergency is its ability to send out a 121.5 MHz distress frequency for aviation or a 243.0 MHz distress frequency for military users. To activate the micro-transmitter one only has to unscrew a protective cap and pull out the antenna fully and activate the signal. This signal can be picked up by search plains flying at 20,000 feet and has a range of 90 nautical miles in normal flat terrain or calm seas. This astounding watch can be a life saver in the event of a flood, plane crash or if your lost at sea.

Yellow Canary Diamonds- Buy Sell Diamond

Buy Sell Diamond

Buy Sell Diamond

Colored diamonds tend to go through waves of popularity, one year pink diamonds may be in fashion and prices will go up and the next year brown diamonds will be the next must have item. Yellow diamonds or canary diamonds on the other hand have enjoyed a long lasting appeal with consumers. The incredibly rare canary diamonds range in color from dark to light yellow. Another factor that adds to their rarity is that canary diamonds tend to be found in natural environments and almost never found in common diamond mines. The most valuable and brightly colored diamonds have been found in South Africa.

All diamonds have natural impurities, the largest of which is nitrogen atoms. If these atoms are in pairs they have no affect on a diamonds color and you will have a regular white diamond. If these nitrogen atoms are in large even-numbered aggregates they impart a brown tint. In the case of yellow diamonds, the nitrogen atoms are dispersed throughout the crystal in isolated sites. This composition of nitrogen atoms is incredibly rare and only one in 10,000 diamond found in the world is a yellow diamond. These factors along with the general popularity of this type of colored diamond is the reason they are considered so valuable.

Like all diamonds, yellow diamonds are assigned value based on the four C’s: cut, carat weight, clarity and color. Canary diamonds are also graded on their evenness of their color, how much saturation of color is present and the undertones of the color. Faceting can make the color appear brighter and thus sparkle more which in turn highers the value of the diamond.

Raymond Lee Jewelers takes pride in the fact that we sell high quality colored diamonds at prices national jewelery stores can’t compete with. Make sure you are not paying more for a diamond just because of the name found on the shopping bag. We buy sell diamond.

The Moinet Magistralis Massive Monetary Moon Movement- Watch Repair

Watch Repair

Watch Repair

The luxury watch maker Louis Moinet has become the first and only watch brand to create a timepiece that has a real piece of lunar rock in its mechanism. These rare stones used in the Magistralis came from a 2,000 year-old lunar meteorite that is more expensive then gold and platinum combined. The watch is being sold for one million Swiss Francs or around $862,000. Louis Moinet plans on only making this Magistralis watch and never creating another in the future.

You only have to look at the internal mechanisms of this beautiful timepiece to realize that the price is justified. The movement beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour and was created over a hundred years ago and has the famed Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark. It also has a hand made and extremely accurate striking mechanism that no machine can replicate, only a master watch-watchmaker can create such a work of art. The case of the Magistralis is made of 18-carat rose gold and consists of 90 complex pieces.

This magnificent watch is further  complemented by its presentation box. The watch stand is made of a rare maple wood and serves to amplify the unique tone of the striking mechanism. The presenation box also includes an original copy of Louis Moinet’s book, Treatise on Watchmaking which was published in 1856.

Raymond Lee Jewelers may not have any lunar rock timepieces but we do have the top brands at the lowest prices. We also provide great watch repair services.

Movado Museum Watch- Watch Sell

Movado was founded in 1881 iWatch Selln the small village of Le-Chaux-Fonds, Switzerland, by 19 year old Achilles Ditesheim. 129 years later Movado has stood the test of time by providing luxury watches that are both artistic and refined. The name Movado, means “always in motion” in the language of Esperanto (an artificial language based on common European languages) and is an excellent way to describe the history of the company. Movado has stayed relevant in a  market that became increasingly competitive by continuously creating innovated new watches. This inspiring forward thinking has resulted in over 100 patents and 200 international awards in watch design and time technology.

Perhaps Movado’s most influential watch is the Movado Museum Watch which is defined by a single gold dot symbolizing the sun at high noon, the hands suggesting the movement of the earth. Created by Nathan George Horwitt in 1947, Horwitt was the first artist at Movado to explore the concept of time as design. This watch became so popular and was held with such high regard that it became the first watch to be displayed at the Museum of Modern Art.

Now you can wear a piece of watch history on your wrist, Raymond Lee Jewelers is offering this beautiful and artistic timepiece at an amazing price. We are one of South Florida’s largest watch sell.

Preowned Luxury Watches: Breitling Bentley

Preowned Luxury Watches

Preowned Luxury Watches

The Breitling preowned luxury watch watch that catches the most attention is the Bentley.  The Breitling for Bentley line of watches are for those who want to make a statement of luxury.  Bentley specifically requested a line of Breitling watches that can match their luxury and design and thus the Breitling for Bentley line was created.  They usually have oversize cases to demand attention to the watch.

We recently purchased a preowned luxury watch Breitling for Bentley from the Bentley Motors model.  There are several models within the Breitling for Bentley line, with the Bentley Motors being the simplest (in a line of extravagant watches).  It has a large 48.7 mm case as standard size in gents is anywhere from 36-40 mm.  It has a working chronograph and tachometer bezel.  The watch’s case and bracelet are both of the highest quality stainless steel.  The “motor” that drives this preowned luxury watch is a Calibre 25B automatic movement.

One look at this watch from a distance will make you inquire as to what it is.  It is a watch made for those who want to make a statement of wealth.  The Bentley Motors line makes a great compliment to someone who owns a Bentley convertible or to anyone looking to look important.

Sports Watch Weekly Giveaway: Week 3 Preview

sports watch weekly giveaway

Welcome back everyone for another exciting week of NFL football and our Sports Watch Weekly Giveaway!  Thank all of you for taking time out of your busy day to read my blog and participating in the contest.

Week 1 was dominated by favorites; home teams won the majority of the match ups.  However, week 2 took a complete u-turn and 8 games were won by the visiting team (half of the games) which made for a very exciting weekend.  Coincidentally, the Monday Night Football game was the most exciting, as explained in my Week 2 Review.

Week 3 looks like a much more consistent week and I think there will be more favorite winners than losers.  However, there are two games I want to highlight: Colts at Broncos and Jets at Dolphins.

In the past the Colts/Broncos match up would never draw much attention, but this year is different.  Both teams looked terrible in Week 1 and amazing in Week 2.  The Colts opened the season with a rare loss to the Houston Texans, a team they always beat.  Then, they came back and clobbered a Giants team who looked impressive in week 1.  And the Broncos’ story is similar.   They got dominated on both sides of the ball against a mediocre Jacksonville team, then came back last week and destroyed the 1-1 Seahawks.  This match up intrigues me because of what the Texans did on the ground against the Colts in week 1, racking up over 250 yards with Arian Foster (an undrafted running back).  With the addition of Laurence Maroney last week, the Bronco’s running attack has the personnel to run all over Indy.  Look for Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter, and Maroney be used a lot this week.  The Colts’ biggest strength is their passing game which I think will be held in check this week.  Champ Bailey is a multiple-pro-bowl-shut-down-corner who will limit Reggie Wayne along with the rest of the Colts’ receivers.  If the Colts manage to lose this week, which I think they will, it seems their reign atop the AFC South is coming to an end. My pick: Broncos over Colts.

The second game I’m fascinated by is the Jets at Dolphins.  Both on off the field reasons should work their way into the outcome of this Sunday Night Football game.  As you may have heard, the Jets’ number 1 receiver was arrested and charged with a DWI earlier this week.  It caused a huge distraction in the locker room, especially when coach Rex Ryan said he was not going to start Edwards but he will play.  Many Jets players, including Darrell Revis who is out with a hamstring injury, were confused by when and how much of the game Edwards will play.  This is the first home game for the Dolphins and should be a coming out party for free agent acquisition, wide receiver Brandon Marshall.  He has yet to put up huge numbers in the Dolphins first two wins and you can see he is dying to get the ball.  Without Revis I see the Dolphins taking advantage of Antonio Cromartie and rookie defensive back Kyle Wilson.  My pick: Dolphins over Jets

This should give you a little insight into two close games this week.  Below are the rest of my picks for week 3.

49ers at Chiefs: 49ers (upset special of the week)
Lions at Vikings: Vikings get their first win of the season finally in week 3
Bills at Patriots: Patriots confuse Harvard QB Ryan Fitzpatrick
Falcons at Saints: Falcons come back to win in thrilling fashion
Titans at Giants: Titans‘ Chris Johnson runs wild
Steelers at Buccaneers: Steelers hand Bucs overdue first loss of season
Bengals at Panthers: Bengals make it 2 in a row
Browns at Ravens: Ravens’ Ray Rice finally gets it going
Cowboys at Texans: Texans move Cowboys to 0-3
Redskins at Rams: Redskins and McNabb win a shootout
Eagles at Jaguars: Jaguars hold Vick in check
Colts at Broncos: Broncos (review above)
Raiders at Cardinals: Pass (I’m not smart enough to pick this one)
Chargers at Seahawks: Seahawks limit Rivers without VJ
Jets at Dolphins: Dolphins’ air attack fly over Jets
Packers at Bears: Packers’ in another shootout

Good luck in week 3!  If you haven’t signed up our FREE Sports Watch Weekly Giveaway yet, click here.  Tell everyone you know to sign up and take advantage of a great opportunity to win a stylish sports watch.  Just ask the winners of week 1 and 2 how much they love theirs!
